ANDERSON The Leakalyzer - Water Loss Sensor with Bluetooth

$1,890.00

NEW mobile app and Bluetooth capability! See more below.

The Leakalyzer enables you to quickly determine if a pool is losing water, and how much water it's losing. This super sensitive device measures water level changes to the 10,000th of an inch, and tracks these changes in real time on a digital graph. Watching this real-time data enables you to identify leaks in as little as 5-10 minutes. In fact, the Leakalyzer is so sensitive that water loss of less than a gallon from a 20ft. x 40ft. pool is readily indicated.

During a test, the graph screen on the handheld unit plots real-time water level changes against a manually inputted evaporation reference line (the downward sloping dashed line). In this case the graph shows water loss of 3/4 of a gallon of water from an 800 square foot pool over 8 minutes and 30 seconds. The evaporation line represents 0.125 in/day of loss. Since the solid line is decreasing at a faster rate than evaporation, this test indicates that there is a leak in the pool.

The Leakalyzer also provides a calculation of how this graphed water level change would impact the pool in inches and gallons of water loss per hour or per day. Metric calculations are also available. The “Leak” amount is calculated by subtracting the estimated evaporation amount from the total measured water loss. Evaporation rates can be estimated by using our free Evaporation Estimator that uses your current weather data and conditions at the pool is inputs.

Consider the following money making and time saving benefits the Leakalyzer offers:

  • Confirm that a pool is indeed leaking before investing time in extensive leak location procedures.
  • Confirm all leaks have been found and fixed at the completion of repair or temporary patching to avoid expensive call-backs.
  • Compare pump-on and pump off water loss while at the pool to better direct leak location activities.
  • Use to provide leak status reports as a part of pool inspections for owners, insurance companies, and realtors.

NEW! The Leakalyzer now comes standard with a Bluetooth feature for use with a new Lekalyzer Reporter App for mobile devices. The app enables to you transfer tests to your mobile device while on the job site for editing, analysis, and creation of reports. You can organize an unlimited number of tests, edit settings for each job, crop and add notes to your tests, and generate customer ready PDF reports or JPG images that can be included in your own reports. This free app is available on the Apple App Store and Google Play Store. You can download a sample report by clicking here.

There is also a “Leakalyzer Reporter” desktop program that enables you to download report data from your handheld device to generate reports on your computer. The Leakalyzer saves up to 10 tests at a time on the device that can be downloaded at the end of the day. The desktop version of the reporter program includes a visual of the graph with a “best-fit” line added for easy analysis and a table that outlines the quantified metrics. Click here to download a sample report. If you would prefer to purchase your Leakalyzer without the Bluetooth capability you will still be able to use the desktop reporter.
